First and foremost, it tastes absolutely delicious. A taste that would truly stand out to anyone who has never had the pleasure of eating grassfed beef. Secondly, it is significantly healthier than the beef you buy at the supermarket. Unlike alot of questionable claims in the burgeoning organic-food industry, grassfed beef has a wealth of scientific studies showing the benefits for your body. It is full of anti-inflammatory omega-3 fatty-acids, the same healthy fats found in fish. Now juxtapose this with beef from corn-fed cattle, and you will find the exact opposite. It has a glaring lack of omega-3 fatty acids, and perhaps more concerning it has a huge quantity of inflammation-promoting omega-6 fatty acids. Yes, the same inflammatory fatty acids you find in fast food! The evidence for the negative health effects of a diet containing more omega-6 than omega-3 is overwhelming. The typical American is estimated to consume six times more omega-6 than omega-3. This ratio is strongly correlated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and a general pre-mature aging. It's delicious. You do need to keep it frozen until you're ready to eat it, and once you thaw it, plan to eat it within a few days and keep it refrigerated. It's healthier than corn fed beef and tastier too - Also, you don't need to fear this ground beef - it's not the weird mysterious ground beef that you'd get at a big grocery store chain. This product is processed in small batches from a small processor in Montana.
